Take care of yourself - body, mind, spirit. Work, play, eat and rest well. Think positively. Challenge yourself. Accept criticism and failure as lessons on improving.

Respect Your Elders.

Be grateful of those who have gone before you and who have endured hardship to preserve and teach you your traditional ways.

Respect Each Other.

Be respectful and courteous. Encourage one another and never bully. Hold each other accountable without judging. Defend each other from injustice.

Respect the Drum.

Respect all of your dancing, drumming and sacred items whether used for powwow or community and family ceremony. Take care of what you have and put everything properly away when finished.
